Stewardship America has developed an interactive software program designed to search for and locate government and private sector funding opportunities at the national, state, county and local levels.

The "Funding Finder" and "Money Maker" service uses over 500 different criteria to match grants and funding opportunities with specific interests, needs and opportunities that a property owner, business or corporation, municipality or other local or state government entity may wish to explore.

The first module of the "Funding Finder" and "Money Maker" service is now fully operational. The Funding Finder^TM makes it possible to:

match specific conditions on a parcel of property with the grant and funding opportunities that are best suited to maximizing the economic uses of the property; and
match the specific needs of a project with the grant and funding opportunities that are best suited to maximizing economic uses associated with the project, and for carrying out and completing the project.

How it Works

The "Funding Finder" and "Money Maker" service searches through 1,500 federal programs that provide funding assistance, the grant criteria of over 7,500 private foundations, publicly funded programs at the state and regional levels in all 50 states, and local funding opportunities in every county, borough and parish in the U.S.

The "Funding Finder" and "Money Maker" service returns a list of funding opportunities within each category that has the highest probability of matching (and maximizing economic value of) the unique local conditions and needs associated with a property, business, public activity or project.

What You Get

Five Options:

Request and receive one or more of the following services:

1. Overview of grant, funding and revenue-generating opportunities. Results in an 8-10 page report with a list of opportunities. Hyperlinks are provided to obtain more information on each opportunity.

2. Same as above, plus detailed appendices with one-page descriptions of the "best funding opportunities" represented by (a) federal grant programs, (b) foundation grant opportunities, and (c) specific funding opportunities at the state and local levels.

3. Match funding opportunities with specific needs. Interview and site visit is conducted prior to search. Information gained is used to review each opportunity listed. All funding opportunities are reviewed to see how closely they match your needs. Report focuses solely on opportunities specific to your needs.

4. Develop a funding strategy. 1-3 above, plus creation of a step-by-step strategy to give you guidance on how to use the staff, resources and contacts you now have at your disposal (or not, whatever the case may be) to move forward in securing funding for the projects, activities, or new revenue-generating opportunities that appeal to you.

5. Go get the money. 1-4 above, plus assistance in procuring funding from the sources identified.
